www.instructables.com I’ve written up a highly detailed intractable on how I reversed engineered the serial protocol for my Epson printer and emulated the ink cartridges with a PIC microcontroller (PIC18F2550) I did this because I’m going to build a 3D printer and wanted to be able to supply my own chemical through the print head. However, the printer refused to work without all ink cartridges present.
